CMS on Campus

CareercmsoncampusThrough our primary subsidiary company, Consumers Energy, we are on a number of Michigan's college and university campuses.  Each fall, recruiters hit  campuses in search of talented students  who have an interest in the energy industry.

Our company sponsors a summer intern program each year at various locations around the state.  Primarily, we seek students that are pursuing engineering or Information Technology (IT) related degrees. Students must be enrolled full time at a four year college or university and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

In addition to the summer intern program, recruiters also search for recent college graduates to join the CMS Energy and Consumers Energy team.  Careers are available in areas such as business, engineering, IT, and other technical areas.
